Since April 2023, Sudan has been embroiled in an ongoing crisis, displacing millions and leaving families struggling to survive amidst war and chaos. The scale of the refugee crisis is staggering—what began as a few thousand refugees has now escalated to more than 18 million people fleeing violence and destruction. Amidst this overwhelming crisis, a beacon of hope has emerged in the form of Sudan Aid 911 Emergency Relief Inc. (SAER), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing urgent humanitarian support to those most affected by the conflict.
Founded in August 2024 by Drs. Gaffar Gailani and Omer Saeed (New Jersey), with Mr. Nasir and Abdulrahim (New York), SAER was created to aid Sudanese refugees fleeing to Egypt and within Sudan. Recognizing the urgent need, they united to deliver coordinated humanitarian relief, focusing on lifesaving support—especially for women and children—through food, medical care, and shelter.
Providing vital nutrition for daily survival.
Supplying care and treatment for urgent health needs.
Providing safe housing and building sustainable resettlement villages.

Beyond immediate relief, SAER works to help refugees rebuild their lives by creating temporary and permanent villages with essential infrastructure—clean water, sanitation, schools, and healthcare—so they can recover in safety and dignity.
The crisis in Sudan continues, and refugees urgently need support. SAER is committed to providing aid, but it cannot do it alone. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and supporters, we can deliver vital assistance. By donating or volunteering, you can make a real difference—bringing hope and healing to those who have lost everything.
