SUPPORT SUDAN AID 911

Sudan Aid 911 Emergency Relief Inc. (SAER) is a nonprofit corporation based on IRC Section 501 (c)(3) and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes. SAIR Inc. purpose is to provide support (food, medical, and shelter) for victims and refugees escaping or trapped in the war zones in Sudan and currently residing in Egypt or Sudan. Most of the refugees are women and children. SAER will also support them to settle in temporary or permanent villages. SAER will try to identify and use all legal resources to equip these villages with all life necessities.

SCALE OF THE DISASTER

In August 2024, the Famine Review Committee confirmed famine in the Darfur region, which includes the Zamzam IDP camp. As of June 2024, over half of Sudan's population (25.6 million people) were facing food insecurity, and over 750,000 were living in famine-like conditions. The crisis is caused by crop and livestock destruction, blockades on humanitarian aid, and disruption to harvesting.

What is Going on in Sudan Right Now!!

Sudan is currently facing one of the most severe humanitarian crises in recent history. Families have been uprooted from their homes, and forced to flee violence and instability. Most if not all, have lost their jobs, leaving them unable to support their families.

As the situation deteriorates, food security has become a critical issue. The once-fertile lands are now barren, and the availability of essential supplies has plummeted. Prices for basic necessities have skyrocketed, making it nearly impossible for families to afford even the most basic sustenance.
